Wowow! We are blessed with a beautiful Good Friday to finish off the week. Heavenly skies with a mix of sun and clouds.
Check out our view from Downtown Nashville…
Here’s one from Clarkesville with a bit more cloud cover, serving as a blanket to keep temperatures from maxing out in the upper 80s. rather, low 80s. Thank you, clouds!
Each and every spot across the Mid State sure has one thing in common — unseasoinably warm temperatures! Average is 71 degrees and we are running a good ten to fifteen degrees WARMER than that. The best part? Dew points are running in the 40 and 50s….so it FEELS like summer minus the humidity.
Take today and put it in cruise control for your Saturday. Low to mid-80s, plenty of sunshine and just fantastic for any outdoor plans.
It will be a better day for our Easter egg Hunters, as showers roll in for Easter Sunday. Let’s talk about that!
Latest model runs are in good agreement for a dry early morning on Sunday. Showers are expected to roll in from the northwest late morning, impacting areas west of I-65 before noon initially. Then they’ll spread eastward through the day and evening. Here’s how Futurecast maps out timing…
The same system will become stationary, keeping an unsettled pattern to start out our next workweek. In other words, you’ll want to keep an umbrella handy!
I’ll have your full weekend shower timeline coming up on Channel 4 at 4 & 4:30! Chief Meteorologist Lisa Spencer will have updates coming up at 5, 6 and 10 tonight!
