Wowie! Mother Nature does it again! What an incredible weekend we have been blessed with. Yesterday we hit 72 degrees for a high in Nashville and today we broke the 80-degree mark! Crystal blue skies and enough beauty to stretch over the entire region.
Here’s a couple of my favorite viewer photos from today — a sunrise from Clarkesville by loyal Channel 4 viewer, Shawn and another sunrise (snapper chose to remain anonymous) reflecting over the water and trees. Thank you both for sharing!
Here’s a current screen grab (6:20 pm) of how things shape up over our beautiful city, Nashville. Since we are window-less in our studio so I always enjoy flipping through our live cams. This one is particularly lovely. Hope you can get outside and ENJOY it!
Temperatures are still very warm, running in the mid to upper 70s for most…
If you spent any time outdoors today, you may noticed the breeze. Winds gusts were as high as 17 mph in Nashville. Monday looks very similar, with southerly winds gusting as high as 25 mph at times.
The GOOD news? More sunshine and low 80s start our workweek! It’s not until Monday overnight into Tuesday where we’ll see our next batch of showers and even a few storms. I do not expect severe storms out of this system…the better chance remains to our west.
Here’s how Futurecast maps out timing…
A few early morning spotty showers are possible on Wednesday, especially for southeastern Middle Tennessee. After that? Things dry up! Thursday looks to be beautiful and I only have a 20% chance for Friday and Saturday to be on the safe side….you may catch a stray shower or storm.
I’ll have the full timeline of this workweek ahead coming up on Channel 4 at 10 tonight! Hope you can join me, Alan and Joe! Have a blessed night!
