April 7: Perfect 10 This Weekend!

Abundant sunshine expected today and over the weekend, but it will be cool and breezy today, with highs only reaching the low 60s this afternoon:

It will NOT be as windy as it was yesterday!

Cold tonight, with low temperatures dropping to the mid 30s in Nashville by Saturday morning, even colder than that outside of the “urban heat island” (I think Futurecast might be over-estimating temperatures outside of Nashville here):

A freeze warning is in effect for the Midstate from midnight tonight until 8am Saturday:

Bundle up if you’re planning on joining me (and the celebri-pup, Dagny) for the WillPower 5K in Franklin tomorrow morning:

Online registration is closed, but you can register on-site before the race starts at 7:30am.  Temperatures should be up to around 40° by the time I finish the run around 8am (hopefully 7:55)…by the time David from @NashSevereWx finishes up, temperatures should be substantially warmer.

High temperatures Saturday will end up near 70°:

Up to around 80° by Sunday afternoon:

…and near 80° again on Monday!

The next chance of showers and thunderstorms heads our way on Tuesday:

At this point I’m not concerned about any widespread severe weather threat.

The daily nerd-links will be back next week…
