It’s tough to escape the clouds now (as of 8:04am), unless you’re in far southwestern Middle Tennessee:
However, as we head through today, clouds should gradually break up, first over southern Middle Tennessee and last along the TN/KY line. That’ll allow enough sunshine through for a high in Nashville today of 66 degrees. Here’s a look at area highs today.

Tomorrow will be even chillier around dawn (low-mid 40s), but much warmer during the afternoon.
Then, Sunday night and Monday, more rain moves in. The best chance of severe weather with this system will remain across the Deep South. Here in the Mid State, far southeastern Middle Tennessee has the greatest likelihood for a strong storm or two, with damaging wind. There shouldn’t be too many of them though.
