A screen grab smack dab on official sunrise time this morning! Refreshing cloud-free skies lead to beauty but comes at the cost of unseasonably chilly temperatures, ranging between the upper 20s and upper 30s
With ample sunshine, we’ll warm up quite nicely and right around average in the upper 50s to lower 60s — slightly cooler then the 67 Nashville hit yesterday but when we subtract the breeze, it will feel closer to the actual air temperature.
We start our first official day of spring on Monday strong, in the lower 70s! Not bad!
A weak upper level disturbance will bring more clouds and the chance for an isolated shower/thunderstorm during the day on Monday. The better chance arrives Monday overnight into Tuesday and some storms could be strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has a good chunk of Middle Tennessee under a ‘Marginal Risk’ (1 out of a 1 to 5 scale) for any storms to reach severe criteria.
After that? Hit or miss showers take over on Wednesday through the remainder of the workweek. The next better chance for showers could be better with timing but it is looking like the weekend!
I’ll have the full shower and storm timeline coming up on Channel 4 at 8 this morning! Hope you join me!
