Mother Nature’s fog machine is out and at work this morning! Many areas were under a Dense Fog Advisory earlier but the National Weather Service has decided to cancel it due to improvements. Still foggy out there so please use extra caution as you head out on the roads.
The clouds and fog all form due to lingering moisture from a passing cold front. The good news?
The front continues pushing towards the south, pulling the moisture with it and high pressure rolls in behind, painting a glorious weekend forecast!
Expect plentiful sunshine, mild lower 60s and a northwesterly breeze that will pick up at times, as high as 20 mph this afternoon. Mainly clear skies stick around tonight which will aid in dropping overnight lows slightly below average, in the mid-30s.
Sunday will be another win and look very similar, minus the breeze! Our next chance for rain will be Monday night into Tuesday with the addition of some thunderstorms. On and off showers take over Wednesday on.
I’ll dive more in depth with your extended forecast coming up on Channel 4 at 8:30 this morning! I’m filling in for Dan and Paul will be filling in for me this evening. Go team!
