True to the warning, it was a very cold start this morning. The low in Nashville reached 23 degree. That was very typical for Middle Tennessee. There were a few teens like 19 in White House and 18 in Cold Mount.

Some folks were greeted with some snow this morning including White County. That will not be the case tomorrow morning, but it will be bitterly cold. Another Freeze Warning has been issued.
High pressure will keep the sky clear all across Middle Tennessee overnight. So I do expect low 20s again and a few more teens in the higher elevations. Tomorrow the winds kick around to the south and that will help warm things up to the 50s, still below average for this time of year. The warm up continues through Friday. There is a chance of rain for St. Patrick’s Day.
Here is the latest timing on Friday. There could be a few isolated thunderstorms, the most likely time will be in the late evening. Of course we are 48 hours away from that, so the timing could change.
The weekend looks very nice. After a few morning showers Saturday morning, the sun will dominate through Sunday. Highs will be near average, in the upper 50s.
I’ll have an update tonight on Channel 4 News at 10pm.
