This weekend will be perfect for doing things outdoors. We’ll have chilly mornings and mild afternoons, with a light south breeze and lots of sunshine.
Outdoors now, it’s still quite chilly in spots. Most areas were actually in the 20s just before sunrise!
It’s sunny in Brentwood. This was the view at 8:30am on Church Street.
…sunny in Bell Buckle
…sunny in Clarksville
…and everywhere in between, of course including Nashville!
We do expect a few high clouds to pass overhead as we head through the day, but they won’t do much to blot out the sunshine.
If you’re looking for something to do, there of course are plenty of options. Here are a few:
The Nashville Lawn and Garden Show runs from 10am until 8pm. Head there to enjoy a nice walk, gets some planting ideas, and/or listen to a lecture on a variety of topics.
The First Saturday Art Crawl takes place on/around 5th Avenue, between 6pm and 9pm. Art galleries will be open then, hosting receptions and serving wine and refreshments. The weather will still be fantastic….just a little cooler.
Tomorrow will be about as pleasant. We’ll have more of a breeze, a few more clouds, and slightly higher temperatures…but still in the 60s.
We’ll need to keep tabs on Tuesday. Then, especially during the morning, thunderstorms are expected again. While this system doesn’t look as strong as last Wednesday’s, there still could be a few strong thunderstorms in our neck of the woods.
For more on our weather this weekend, Tuesday’s storm threat, and what lies beyond then, be sure to tune in to Channel 4 News Today….between 9am and 10am.
