We’ve had a hard freeze overnight. Temperatures are still well below freezing, as of 7:45am…
It’s sunny now, but clouds will gradually move into the area through the day from the west.
Despite an increase in clouds, we’ll see a nice warm-up. Highs this afternoon will be in the 50s.
Here’s a look at the entire area’s highs.
Need something fun to do today? There are many options…a few of which are shown below…
That last event — Our Kids’ Soup Sunday — is a soup tasting event at Nissan Stadium’s Club Level West where 50 local restaurants will participate, offering up their most delicious concoctions. In addition to the soup, there will be children’s activities (e.g. face painting and balloon artists).
Overnight, count on thickening clouds and rain showers. Many showers will be around for the morning drive tomorrow so plan on factoring in a few extra minutes for your commute.
Tomorrow’s weather won’t be stormy. However Wednesday’s weather likely will. A 4WARN Weather Alert is in effect for that day, as storms with damaging wind gusts are becoming increasingly likely.
So…to prepare, consider downloading the WSMV and WSMV Weather apps. They’re free…and will provide you watches, warnings, access to 4WARN Live Doppler Radar, and more!
Coming up on Channel 4 News Today, between 8am and 9am, I’ll share much more on our upcoming weather, including Wednesday’s storm threat.
