It’s been warm and dry for a couple of days. Now, rain showers are about to reenter the picture.
Outdoors today, it’s so warm we’re nearing record territory! As of 3pm, we’re just two notches away from the highest reading ever on this date — 78 degrees, set in 2014.
It’s cloudy for most as well. If we had full sunshine, we’d likely touch 80 in spots!
The clouds are part of a larger system that will begin to impact us tomorrow with rain showers.
Notice the showers now don’t look overly impressive just west of us. That’s the part of the system that will come our way.
SO….don’t expect a tremendous amount of rain tomorrow — just showers. The rain should increase a bit tomorrow evening, before leaving on Wednesday.
Take a look at the latest timing, with FUTURECAST…
I’ll be honest…I expect a bit more rain coverage than shown above. SO…you’ll absolutely want to make sure you have your umbrella with you as you head out the door tomorrow morning.
Any rain that falls tomorrow with help with the pollen. I don’t know about you, but today has been the worst day for allergies this season for me. Here’s today’s count.
Tomorrow’s will be a smidge better. Wednesday’s will be even lower, as this weather system departs.
Down the road, the pollen build back up again, as temperatures soars to heights even higher than today’s. We’ll talk about that, we’ll discuss a threat for thunderstorms, and go into when much cooler air will return to Middle Tennessee on Channel 4 News at 4pm, 4:30pm, 5pm, 6pm, & 6:30pm. We hope you join us!
