One Response to December 17 (VIDEO): Severe Weather and Freezing Rain

  1. Fred says:

First (and maybe only) warm day this month, temps could hit 70 after 16 days of sub-60s, and it’s a crummy one. Now, December is considered the quietest month in Middle Tennessee as far as severe weather potential goes, between 1950 and 2014 only 3 (4?) tornadoes have been confirmed in that month (1951?, 1964, 1988, 2000) although one was of EF-4 magnitude (Dec 24, 1988), but lately they have become much more frequent this time of the year, last December producing an unprecedented 7 twisters with deadly results.
