It was a beautiful fall day in Middle Tennessee. In Nashville the afternoon high reached 53 degrees, that’s close to average for this time of year. Getting up and out the door tomorrow will catch your attention as the sky will be mostly clear allowing temperatures to tumbling to near freezing tomorrow morning.
Friday will be similar, just a few degrees warmer. An approaching upper Low brings the rain late Saturday into Sunday. Of course, more rain is a plus since the drought remains a huge issue across Middle Tennessee. But the latest drought monitor is a little deceiving because this week’s significant rain was not included in the new assessment.
Several Christmas parades are happening this weekend and the rain will hold off for those. Snowbird is riding in several of those so be sure to wave.
Saturday Parades…Nashville 9AM, Lewisburg 2pm and Lynnville 5pm. I’ll join him in the Lynnville Parade.
Even more rain is possible Monday. Some thunderstorms are possible Monday into Tuesday. We’ll keep watching that.
I’ll have a weather update on Channel 4 News at after the game. Daphne DeLoren has the latest in the morning.
