I can not believe that Thanksgiving is two days away. It finally feels more like the holiday season. I have something special for you at the end of this blog so keep reading. You may have noticed clouds moved in today. That is a sign of an approaching weather system.
The rain will move in west to east tomorrow. Those folks west of I-65 will get the better chance of seeing rain. And wow, do we ever need it! The drought continues. So I will be thankful for whatever rain we get. Here’s the latest Futurecast prediction.
Most of the rain will move out by Thursday, there may be a shower of two left to the east. But the sky will clear in the afternoon.
Black Friday looks great for shoppers. After a chilly start at 40 degrees, the afternoon highs will reach 62, with a partly cloudy sky.
The weekend will be dry with highs near 60 degrees. The lows will not be as cold, staying above freezing. Sunday the clouds will increase and we could get a few showers Sunday night, but they will be more likely on Monday.
Now for the treat. Each year, we receive special Thanksgiving Turkey recipes from Mrs. Moore’s Kindergarten Class. I just did a facebook live featuring a few of them see it on my Facebook page. Here’s one from Xander. I’ll have more to share over the next couple of days.
Happy Thanksgiving! If you are traveling…be safe.
I’ll have a weather update on Channel 4 News at 10pm.
