Frosty Fall Mornings

Chilly fall air is here.  With a clear sky and light wind, a Frost Advisory is in effect from 2am to 8am.  Temperatures will drop into the mid and upper 30s, cold enough for some frost to form.

A ridge of high pressure is building in, that means radiation cooling tonight.  The sunny and dry pattern sticks around  for a few days to come.  Thursday will be in the 60s, with low humidity, this will increase the danger of fires across Middle Tennessee.

Temperatures will tumble again on Thursday night and that will spell more patchy frost Friday morning. Friday beautiful weather will dominate for Veterans Day. Perfect for parades and events across the mid state.

A dry front passes by on Friday bringing reinforcing cold air.  So morning lows on Sunday may be near freezing for many locations.

The next best chance of rain doesn’t arrive until Tuesday of next week and that means the drought problems continue.
