Freakalishly Warm Halloween

For those that weren’t quite ready for fall, this weekend was a treat. Saturday broke records with highs in the upper 80s. We did not quite break records in Nashville today but three degrees shy is still very close! We hit 84, which is seventeen degrees above the seasonal average. Yikes. Still very warm tonight…

Mid-60s to low 70s will dip down into the upper 50-degree range overnight. Skies remain clear and the radar is sparkling…

Monday is Halloween and it’s still looking freakishly warm. Warm enough to potentially break another temp record. Our last record of 85 degrees was set back in 1950.

Is it a trick or a treat? Well, it is not a trick and it is a treat for those who chose light costumes. It will be warm! Clear skies and low 70s are on tap for our candy monsters…

This dry and unseasonably warm weather is here to stay through Wednesday. Record breaking heat is most likely on Tuesday, with a forecast high of 86. A weak approaching cold front will bring clouds and a few spotty showers into the mix on Thursday into the early morning on Friday. This will drop highs down to the upper 70s on Thursday before lower 70s return Friday through Sunday. This is the point where you may take the pumpkin candle back out of the closet. Welcoming back, fall. 🙂

Join me at 10 pm (likely later due to football) for the full break of this warm up before cool down on channel 4. Paul Heggen will have updates at 4 am tomorrow!
