A Stretch of Beauty

Wow!  Nothing short of beauty. Loyal channel 4 viewers Chelsea, Paige and Sarah share their sunset captures from Old Hickory Lake at Beacon Hill this evening.

Just beautiful.

After a rain-free weekend, you can keep the umbrella locked up with a peace of mind. Skies remain clear and roads are dry in every single spot.video-radar

It will be chilly in the upper 40s to lower 50s in the morning so you may want to put a sweater on the kiddos before leaving the house.

If you’ve been enjoying this nice stretch of dry weather, you’re in for a treat. High pressure rules for the days ahead. What to expect through Wednesday:

  1. Lots of sunshine.
  2. Dry, crisp air.
  3. Unseasonably warm temperatures in the middle and upper 70s.
  4. Overnight lows in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

By the time we get to Thursday, things change…slightly. An approaching cold front brings a few spotty showers into the mix and drops temperatures by a couple of degrees into the lower 70s. Just to give you an idea, average for this time of year is 70 degrees. Six out of the seven days ahead will be running warmer than that.

I’ll have updates on this upcoming warm spell coming up on channel 4 at 10 pm (likely a bit later due to football delays). Be sure to join Paul Heggen bright an early tomorrow morning at 4 am!
