Tranquil Week for Weather

Autumn is typically a tranquil time for weather in Middle Tennessee….especially the early to middle part.  This week will be just that.

Cool and pleasant nights have been the rule lately.  Take a look at how chilly it got this morning.  Hands down, this was the coldest start of the season so far.

Temperatures are dropping nicely tonight…but aren’t as low as they were this time last night, thanks to a deck of clouds moving through.

Tomorrow, we’ll have to deal with some clouds for a time, but don’t waste time bringing an umbrella if it looks a little ominous in your area in the morning.  These clouds moving through are high and harmless.  The lower atmosphere is too dry for rain.

Down the road this week, some rain will return….or at least a chance for some.  I’ll get much more detailed on that and talk about what could be a landfalling hurricane later this week, tonight, on Channel 4 News at 10pm!
