A pink cotton candy sunset wraps up a weekend filled with beauty…
Skies have remained cloud-free and temperatures are feeling nice and comfy, back to fall.
Perfect ingredients for dinner on the patio — low 60s to low 70s, crisp air and shower-free.
If you plan on heading out tonight, grab a jacket. It will be chilly, dropping down as low as the upper 40s around sunrise.
With high pressure taking a firm grip across the region, the weather story does not change much for the next few days. Abundant sunshine is the trend through Wednesday. The only difference will be a gradual warm up into the lower 80-degree range both on Tuesday and Wednesday but this is brief.
A weak cold front swings through on Thursday, bringing only a very slight chance for spotty showers on Thursday and Friday. The main impact will be noticeably cooler temperatures, back down into the low to mid-70s to finish off the workweek. Overall, expect a very pleasant week ahead…
Now back to what is now post-tropical cyclone Mathew…
With 75 mph maximum sustained winds, Mathew is headed ENE at 15 mph out to sea overnight. This is where we want it to go — away from land. There is still much aftermath to clean up…
Our attention now turns to Tropical Storm Nicole…
Maximum sustained winds are at 65 mph but Nicole is nearly stationary at the moment but expected to move north-northwest in the next day or two. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are impacting Puerto Rico and Hispanola. Though Nicole is not expected to have a direct impact on the United States, it may potentially hit Bermuda later this week. Updates to come…
I’ll have an update on how the workweek shapes up and timing for the best chance of showers coming up at 10 pm (most likely a bit later due to football delays).
Wishing everyone a wonderful evening and week ahead!
