The first weekend of fall will feel a lot more like summer…hot and sunny. Those afternoon highs will continue to be about 10 degrees above the average, highs in the 90s and lows in the upper 60s. A day at the pool or the lake may be the right plan.

Early in the morning at 4:56AM you can see the International Space Station fly overhead. It will appear in the ENE sky and disappear in the SE sky. The maximum height will be 71 degrees and last for 3 minutes.
Nashville’s Largest Yard Sale is happening at Nissan Stadium. No kidding, that’s where it will be. Your likely to find a wide variety of treasures there. It’s from 9AM to 1PM.
At Edwin Warner Park, thousands will participate in the Nashville St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. This family friendly walk/run will raise funds for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food.
“WALK to DEFEAT ALS” is Saturday morning at Lipscomb University.
Channel 4’s Rudy Kalis is on the board of the association and will be there along with former Tennessee Titans Tim Shaw who has ALS. Registration is at 9am. The walk begins at 10am.
Nashville Brew Fest is at First Tennessee Park where the Sounds play. The event is a unique experience in that it actually takes place on the field, with over 60 breweries, food trucks, a video DJ on the scoreboard and lawn games throughout.
Pilgrimagefest is a two day music festival that will take place in the Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin. Numerous artist are on the line up including Hall and Oates.

The weather will catch up to the season next week as a cold front approaches. Expect rain on Monday. Tuesday cooler air moves in leaving afternoon highs in the upper 70s for most of the rest of the week. Morning lows will be in the upper 50s. The humidity will be lower too…Fall…Yes!
