Whew! Welcome back, humidity! Did your clothes stick to you when you stepped out the door? I would not be surprised. Dew points have inched back up into the low and middle 70s.
With temperatures running unseasonably hot today, it feels nothing shy of a typical summer in Tennessee.
Combine the two and this is what it’s really feeling like around town…
Besides a few isolated storms along the Cumberland Plateau, the radar is nice and dry.
You can expect a similar pattern each day through Friday — hot, humid and just a slight chance for a few afternoon spotty storms. The better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms will be with an approaching frontal boundary on Saturday and Sunday. The main trimeline will be during the afternoon into the evening.
This will bring a slight relief in the temperature department. Low 90s will transition back in the middle and upper 80-degree range on Saturday through the beginning of next week. Here’s a peak at the next seven days and what I’ll be timing out at noon on channel 4 in a few minutes…
Have a wonderful day!
