Weekend Weather and Happenings!

Wow, what an electric start to this weekend.  Thunderstorms in Middle Tennessee are lighting up the sky for miles and miles.  Some Friday night football games were postponed and others are on hold waiting for the storms to move on.

Tonight’s storms are rotating around an area of high pressure which is navigating them in a different direction than most of us are used to.  They are moving from the southeast toward the northwest.  Although they are still very electrical they have diminished in intensity and will continue to do so overnight as they move out of Middle Tennessee. Here’s how Futurecast depicts things for tonight and tomorrow.
