Humidity Exits & Holiday Weekend Storms!

A cold front’s pushing down through Middle Tennessee right now.  With it, we’re seeing some storms fire, but not too many.  Here’s the latest from 4WARN Live Doppler.  The areas of rain are pushing south-southeastward.  We don’t expect too many more to develop.  The rain chance remains quite low.

Dew points as of 3pm show some sign of drier air developing in some communities (shown below).  However, tomorrow, you’re REALLY feel the change as the front moves away and dew points plummet into the 50s….which is nice for summertime around these parts!

For this evening, just expect a few residual showers and storms, quickly dissipating around sunset…

Tomorrow looks fantastic both humidity-wise and temperature-wise!

Making holiday weekend plans?  Get ready to dodge some storms!  I expect scattered storms locally here each and every day….

Independence Day

Heading to the Gulf Coast?  The weather looks better there, with less storm development and coverage!  It’ll be tremendously humid though, with nighttime lows near 80 degrees!
