We’re in the midst of another PERFECT 10 outdoors today! Look at that sky, as photographed in West Nashville around 2 o’clock!
Temperatures are right on the money for early June (compared with climatology)…
Weather for CMA Fest tonight looks fantastic! We couldn’t have written a better weather script!
Overnight, as high pressure continues to rule our weather, it’ll turn cool again. In fact, a few spots by dawn tomorrow may even dip into the 40s!!
Things will begin to change tomorrow, as a developing heat dome over the nation’s mid section spreads our way. We’ll climb into the mid-upper 80s. Then, from Friday through the weekend, we expect 90s!!
Our next chance for any rain whatsoever comes in on Sunday, as a weak cold front tries to enter Middle Tennessee. We’re only talking about a 20% chance for thundershowers in one given area. SO…weather for Bonnaroo and CMA Fest will likely remain dry through the last acts. You’ll just have to remember to stay hydrated. Don’t wait until you feel thirsty. It’s too late then! Drink water continuously throughout the day, right from when you wake up in the morning. ALSO, remember to apply sunblock early and often! If your shadow’s shorter than you, you can get burned!
Coming up today on Channel 4 News, beginning at 4pm, we’ll talk about more promising chances for rain as we get into next week.
