We’re in an exceptionally unsettled pattern right now. Winds aloft are blowing Pacific moisture over Middle TN, as is evidenced in the water vapor imagery tonight.
At the same time, Gulf of Mexico moisture is spreading moisture northward at and just above ground level. Dew points are running in the upper 50s, which is unusual for the eve of December!
SO….we’re talking more rain, on top of what we’ve already picked up!…and we’ve already gotten a lot! Take a look at rainfall totals from yesterday and early today…

SO….hang in there, as it’ll pour at times overnight. Then, gradual improvement settles in tomorrow. By late Wednesday & Thursday, all this rain will seem like a distant memory!
