After unusually warm and dry weather (for most of us) the last couple of days, rain will dominate the headlines this weekend!
Right now, it’s mainly over northwestern Middle TN. That’s where it’s hung out all day long.
This has been a very slow moving storm, from the start! Here’s the broader view… The weather map looked very similar yesterday, with snow and ice in the Plains.
However, it’ll move deeper into the Mid State over the weekend. FUTURECAST seems to have a good handle on its progression…
This means the UT/Vanderbilt game should be mostly dry, if not completely dry. Rain chance for the game is just 20%.
Rain will increase in coverage Saturday night. Sunday still looks to be the wettest part of the weekend. The Titans game appears as if it’ll be soggy, too.
Once the weekend ends, the rain won’t necessarily follow suit. We’re expecting a showers here and there for both Monday & Tuesday of next week. On Wednesday, finally, our weather should improve in a big way!
